Asking for news
Accidentally let it slip to an old co-worker that we have been trying for nearly a year with no luck. I could've slapped myself afterward.
Now I get a message nearly every week asking if there is any news. When no, there is no freaking news but its not for lack of trying!
How do you deal with this? I'm just starting to think that I deserve to be hassled because I'm the one that opened my stupid mouth. Even my mother doesn't know.
