Proposal?

Before your significant other proposed to you did you have that feeling that it was coming? My boyfriend and I have been together for five years and I've just been feeling like he's going to propose we went looking at rings together couple weeks ago but that was it now he's telling me he's taking me out to a nice restraunt to eat and after stay the night at a hotel and that two days before that he's taking me in a dinner cruise. I just have no idea and he's telling me to get get a mani pedi and get a nice dress
I am just curious what did you feel right before your significant propose did know?

I had a feeling my SO was going to propose he insisted I get my nails done (I always teased him if he was going to propose to do it when my nails had been done!). He finally did it on Christmas of 2015, after a five year relationship just like you! I think he is going to propose but don't get too excited that way you won't be disappointed if he doesnt. I knew he was going to purpose because he was acting weird all week and put so much emphasis on going on a walk together.

We got to the lake that had barely frozen over. I tried to break the ice with my boot with no success. I boot kicked a piece of wood which normally I would pick up and take home. As soon as I kicked it,he screamed NOOOOOOO! He went onto the half frozen lake and pick up a ring. He got down on one knee and purposed.

I was surprised. He attached the rings onto the bottom of a carved out wood piece. He caught the whole thing on video and his friend was taking pictures in the bush.

We are getting married on September 3rd, our 5 year anniversary.

I didn't! We had looked at rings and like you said that was it. Then I was cleaning out his pants pockets and found a box and freaked out I didn't open it and pretended like I didn't know of it. But i completely forgot about it and he popped the question however I was looking quite rough and wasn't prepared so it was a surprise. At least you'll have a cute dress and nails done! How fun yes I think your gut is telling you right it is coming

Me and my hubby looked at rings together and I knew the day he ordered my ring ( only because we shared a bank account ) but I told him I didn't want to know when it came in or anything like that and when he was ready then he could do it. The day he proposed we were having a Bbq at my parents house but I was coincidentally going to a bridal expo with my cousins fiancé to get ideas for her wedding. He kept calling all morning from work to make sure I hadn't left yet which was weird and he proposed before I left to the bridal expo !
