Ways to kick start labor ??

I'll be 39 weeks at midnight and I'm miserable! I'm in sooo much pain and I'm so over this, gimme some tips please ?

Walk walk walk. Just try to stay on your feet as much as possible and let gravity help you out. Unfortunately there isn't a ton of full proof ways to start up labor. Try sex, evening primrose oil( to soften and prepare your cervix), walking, bouncing on a birthing ball, cleaning the house (mostly just good for staying on your feet but makes me have crazy contractions) and when you start having contractions, lift your belly from the bottom up. I like to wrap a bead sheet or scarf around the bottom of my belly then make an x across my back with it and put the ends over my shoulders. Every time I contract I pull on the ends to lift my belly which in turn lifts up baby and causes baby to engage (push head down onto cervix) which can cause dilation much more quickly. That was a tip from my midwife. Best of luck momma 💕 I'm right there with you 😩

I have been trying everything from walking, pineapple, raspberry leaf capsules, evening primrose oil, feet massages, even mother milk tea. I started the tea a week ago and just about everything else three days ago. I had a few intermittent contractions yesterday, but nothing consistent yet.

These will only work if your body is ready. I'm sorry to hear your uncomfortable and in pain but you can rush nature sweetie. I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end. Lots of hugs!! 💞
