Should I schedule c section??

My due date is in 4 days and I am attempting vbac. Have a Dr appointment on the 31st and she wants to schedule c section since baby hasn't dropped and no dilation at all. Dr states since it's a vbac I can't go over 40 weeks because placenta becomes old and baby could be at risk and I can't get induduced. I am really scared since I had emergency contact section November 2009 and recovery was really really bad. I don't want to go through it again.  I would like to ask my Dr. To wait 1 more week. 
I'm really scared because I don't  want anything bad to happen to my baby (we ttc for 3 years).
Please give me some advise, what should I do?
Has anyone gone through this? Or do you know if it's safe to go up to 42 weeks when attempting vbac?

It's your decision and they cannot force you. It's nothing wrong if you go over your dye date. I wouldn't do anything until 42 weeks at the latest . In the mean time... Her a birthing ball ($8-9 bucks at sport store) and rock your hips on it... Also walk a lot and and have sex often for there is a chemical said to be in semen that has a similar component to one of the chemicals in one of the drugs they use to induce you. I would say visit a chiropractor for an adjustment also to make sure your hips aren't misaligned and the reason for your baby not descending and putting pressure on your cervix which triggers effacement and dilation .

Just had a lady in my fb group have a vaginal after 2c sections and she kept refusing everything they let her gonto almost 42 weeks she delivered vaginally a 9 lbs baby. 
If you have FB add the group called Pregnant and due in 2016 . ask the question and a couple gals will respond to you. Don't let the doctors scare you. Theybtried tondo that with her. In the end its your decision.

I've already had a successful VBAC, this will be my second time and my doctor is allowing me to go up to 42 weeks. If you don't want a c-section tell your doctor no, you can choose to either be induced or let your body do everything on its own they cannot make you have a c-section if nothing is wrong. And although your doctor is technically correct about the placenta starting to fail it doesn't mean that it literally happens the day after your due date.

What is the reason you can't be induced?

In the uk they let you go 12 days over your due date and have a normal birth. Im not sure if that applies for vbac but if they are monitoring you and your baby and you are both fine then i dont see why you cant wait.

I hate that cesarean  are pushed on people can you speak to someone else?
