16 & pregnant?!

I took the first response digital and it came out positive, first morning urine, 8:55AM. Is this actually happening?....

Yes. I was a teen mom and you will get a lot of negative comments but it doesn't matter what other people think you have my support and all of those around you even though you are young. Any woman shouldn't care how old you are because you created life and that's an amazing thing. Don't take it for granted.

My friend had her baby at 16, dropped out of in school learning, graduated a year early, worked 2 jobs, got her own apartment (no help from parents/baby father, got her G2, and she's now the boss of a high end retail store, drives a BMW, bought a house- still lives on her own with her son, pays for quality day care service, and is literally one of THE best single mothers I've ever seen. 
She's accomplished more than our majority of graduating class and she's still 18 and has a long way to go. 
Be strong and work your ass off for your child, don't slack off and expect people to hand you life on a platter because you're young. 
It's all possible.

I got pregnant at 16 and had my daughter at 17. It's very scary and I can't say it won't be hard. But you're more capable of being a mom than you know. A lot of it will come naturally. For me, my daughter is the best thing in my life.  She's 20 now and she's extremely smart, in college to be an Orthopedist, and has turned out to be the most wonderful person I've ever known. You don't have to be a cliché "teen mom". Just be responsible and always put your child first. People may judge you and be angry at first. But people will come around. Hey, i saw on your others posts that your boyfriend is in jail and you were in 11th grade but you dropped out of school. I highly respect your decision to keep the baby (if that is what you are going to do) but just think about your life right now and if you are going to have that baby u would want it to have as good of a life as you can give it. So i really think you should consider going back to school or atleast getting your GED, it will be much easier for you to get a job that way so that you can earn a living to provide for yourself and your baby
