Pimples be gone ?!

Do you find when you wash your face to much you actually get more pimples ? I noticed since I stop washing my face with acne wash and just use makeup wipes my face has cleared up a lot ! Makes me wonder what is in the face washes we use

If your wash dries your face out too much it will signal your skin to produce extra oil which means more breakouts. Try an oil-free, non-comedogenic moisturizer.

I've stopped using face washes and I've noticed a huge difference. Even family members and friends have noticed and always ask what I'm using. I literally just use a face wipe every day and I use a moisturizer in the morning. The odd time I'll still get really bad breakouts but man, my skin is in much better condition since I stopped washing my face with a cleanser.

I found most products started breaking me out more so I now use Apricot scrub twice a week, then use whitch hazel in the morning and at night. I also use aveno moisturizer daily.

I usually just wash my face with water in the a.m. And a good scrub at night. I use 10% benzoyl peroxide though sleep time so the scrub is a must. It's worked so far! Salycilic acid breaks me out pretty bad usually and burns my face /:

When you wash too many times a day, scrub too hard or use a cleanser that is too harsh, you strip your face, not only of dirt, but also all the good oils that it produces. So it starts producing even more.
