Braxton hicks ?

I've read a little about this on Google, but I was wondering how early they can start and what exactly they feel like. I've been feeling a tightening feeling around my stomach and on my back too. Could this be BH?

Sounds like Braxton hicks. Everyone has their own opinion of what they feel like. I was told they felt like period cramps. I started experiencing them at about 28 weeks. But I honestly can't distinguish between a Braxton hick & real contraction. I went to the hospital about 2 weeks ago for bad pain in my abdomen, thought it was BH. But turns out I was having real contractions & had to get an IV to stop them.

I started having some around 19 or 20 weeks. It is a major tight feeling across the lower abdomen. Not necessarily painful but definitely uncomfortable and you just have to ride out, it'll eventually taper off. It helped me to change positions and get down and squat. Hope this helps. The only other thing it could be is round ligament pain but that's typically only an instant pain when standing up, coughing, sneezing, etc. Hope this helps
