Laughing loud

Okay so today me and my friends went to a Mediterranean restaurant and I tend to laugh out loud always we were playing charades and I laughed loudly and the waiter came and said please keep it down a little bit and actually all my friends were laughing but I was the loudest lol I felt embarrassed and annoyed that he did this but the place is so boring and everyone is quite so why not make a little fun lol is it wrong to laugh out loud? I can't control sometimes
