Hi, cervix checking and ovulation tests. Have I missed it?!

Hi, I took an ovulation test yesterday the second line appeared it wasn't that faint but not as dark as the control line either. But checking my cervix yesterday and it was medium/soft/open.

Checking my cervix today it's medium/firm and closed. Have I missed my ovulation?? Not taking an ovulation test until this afternoon as I read that's when to take them. Any answers please?
