Cervix check. HELLLLLPPP

Okay so I NEVER check my cervix, but I have been these past couple of days because my period has been late. (9 days late today) well I went to check it just a bit ago and my finger pulled out clean, but when I wiped I had just a tint of blood. I wiped again and nothing. Is this common? I wasn't harsh on myself and my nails are neatly cut, and I'm not cramping. I'm really hoping I'm pregnant. I was going in for a blood test in a couple of days :( What do y'all think?
