Choices, choices.

I have two amazing opportunities coming up this fall, and I'd like to hear what you ladies would choose.
Keep in mind that I am 21 years old, I'm single and don't have any children to think about and I aspire to be a midwife someday.
1. I have been accepted into a 3 year midwifery program across the country. Pros: I become a midwife in 3 years. Cons: it's incredibly expensive. Tuition alone is 13K/year, and living expenses would be at least that much on top of it.
2. I have the opportunity to be an au pair in Austria for a year where I could potentially explore midwifery schools in Europe and quite possibly find one that's less expensive. Pros: being an au pair would cost me nothing. Also, AUSTRIA. Cons: delaying my education as a midwife.
I'd love some of your insight!
