I went Into the hospital last week with contractions 5 minutes apart lasting 1 1/2 minutes and the doctor checked me and I progressed from 2 centimeters the week before to 3 so they kept me for a few hours and checked me again and I was 4 centimeters they were like alright we are gonna get an anesthesiologist in here to talk about pain management bc I think your gonna have this baby. The anesthesiologist walked in and looked at my chart and consulted my doctor and at 37 weeks they decided I needed to be considered high risk and they sent me via ambulance to the nearest high risk hospital when I got to that hospital I was having contractions every 3 minutes and they were getting painful they put me on antibiotics bc I tested positive for group B strep and they also gave me a narcotic for the pain from the contractions I had been in labor for 31 hours and got to 5 centimeters dilated and they were about to break my water and then my labor just stopped bc of the narcotic so they sent me home at almost 38 weeks 31 hours later and 5 centimeters dilated and said sorry your not having this baby right now. Would anyone else just be defeated and upset?
