Hmm OBGYN or Primary Care first?

Hey Ladies, this is my first pregnancy and we found out about 4 days ago. I am wondering do you just make an appointment with an obgyn or do you have to get a primary care doctor first? Any advise gladly taken 😊

I called my OB  and made an appointment for a few weeks later at 7 weeks.

I just called my OB and made an appointment. They did a blood test first to confirm that I was pregnant and then my next appointment was just an OB interview where a nurse asked me a bunch of questions about my health basically and then I finally had a real appointment at 10 weeks. I don't know how different other offices are though. But id call your ob office and make an appointment

Ob. They'll most likely schedule you for your first appointment, which is just a preg test paperwork and blood work, then an ultrasound for dates. Or at least that's what it's like at my ob.
