How do I know baby's weight?

I don't have anymore ultrasounds scheduled so how would doctors know babys weight rite now?

I was curious about my baby's weight too, but felt like I might have been over thinking it. Though today at my 36 week appt. the doctor said I'm measuring a bit big so she booked me for an ultrasound just to see what's going on and where the baby's at right now. So I guess unless your doctor says something about it, your baby should be fine? :)

They don't but even with ultrasounds they don't really know their weight because those scans can 1-2 lbs off.

I think you're over thinking the situation. For my first pregnancy, last time I saw my son was at 20 weeks exactly. He was born perfectly fine at 39 weeks and 3 day weighting 7lb7oz. Now with my second, since it's a different Dr office. I had ultrasounds every 4 weeks. And now at 36 weeks I have one weekly until I give birth. I'm sure the Dr knows what it's doing. Good luck.

I just had my last ultrasound last week at 36 wks and she didnt give me an estimated size or weight... I forgot to ask, but im going to ask at my appt tomm if its in my chart. Some people say they dont measure them unless theyre measuring too big or too small,  but everyobe I know got told an est weight, and asked me & was suprised they didnt give me one

They don't. That's why they measure your fundal height ect. If something was wrong, the doctors would know and send you for another ultrasound. They only continuously check on babies weight by ultrasound if your measure over three weeks smaller or bigger. As long as fundal height/heart rate ect are in normal range, there is no reason to check babies weight.

I am measuring right on target and they gave me a growth ultrasound at 37wks. She is estimated to currently be 7lbs 7oz. My first daughter was 8lbs at birth. They told me she was head down and how much she approximately weighed and say everything looked great.

How many weeks were you at your last ultrasound? If it was between weeks 35-37 they say baby grows .5lbs a week in the last month! So you can take the weight they told you and add .5lb for every week it's been since your ultrasound.. It'll be a rough estimate!

I got an ultrasound at 34 weeks because my fundal height was 37 weeks and then they did a follow up scan at 38 weeks because my fundal height was 41. I don't know that they can estimate the weight without doing an ultrasound and they don't normally do growth scans unless your fundal height is greater than or less than 3 weeks different than your due date. Our baby was 6lbs at 34 weeks and 7lbs 9oz at 38 weeks if that helps any.

You wait until birth. That is the only way to know how big your baby will be.
