Yes it was a person known to me. When I was 16 I was raped by a college student I knew, and at 19 I was forced to perform oral sex on a guy in the Air Force ROTC. The psychological trauma from the second time was worse because the sexual act wasn't performed on me, I had to perform it on him.

My ex husband was a control freak. He raped me 2 weeks after giving birth.  I took my wedding rings off the next day. It took me 2 years to leave.  It was 9 years ago and he is still a bastard.  Sorry for the language but it's the only word to describe him.
