My best friend accused my boyfriend of raping her. When I took his side she lashed out at me, called me a worthless friend and said I was letting him tear us apart. A few weeks later she admitted that she lied but still said I was a worthless friend. I was then told by another friend the only reason she lied was because she has a crush on me. It hurt that she couldn't just tell me how she felt and instead decided to lie. She was my best friend of almost ten years and it actually hurts that she'd do such a thing.
