Burping babies?

Question

Sometimes my bubba is hard to settle, but she often falls asleep during/after a feed. 
Burping her wakes her up so is it okay to not burp her? 
She's breastfed, not sure if that makes a difference.

You don't have to burp a breast fed baby. I only do it when my baby is fussy at the breast and takes in a lot of air.

I give my little one gas drops (at night only) when I switch boobs ... It helps a lot!

My babies have always been super grumpy and fussy without a good burp or three after eating. If I don't then they wake up irritable or cry all night.

I wasnt burping my son for the same reason too. He's exclusively breastfed. Some days seem to be worse than others with gas... tonight being one of them. He's been up virtually all night fussing. Little remedies gas drops has seemed to help a little, not entirely though 😞 this mama is very tired & wishes she would have just burped her baby
