IVF TIPS?

Hi ladies, Starting IVF next month and wondering if there's any tips that any of you wish you knew going in, also the injections any tips on how to make them easier on us? How did you feel during the process? Appreciate any and all insight.

Prepare yourself for either a positive or a negative. I hope with all my heart that you get your baby, but if it's not to be, just remember, it's not no, it's just not yet. Unfortunately I've had a few failed cycles, and no one tells you what to do when IVF fails... Which there is a small chance. I don't mean to be a downer, but be prepared either way. Just take it day by day, be prepared for changes and disappointment, relax, don't overthink, and rely on your partner.. They don't know what your going through, but their support will be invaluable. Good luck Sadie, IVF has been a massive rollercoaster. It actually all happens pretty quickly once you get started. Be prepared to attend the clinic at very short notice and for your medication to be adjusted at any point. The first round is almost experimental so you may respond differently to what they expected. Be prepared that if you're on Buserelin/lupron that you may feel like crap. I had really bad headaches and extremely tired so don't plan too much. The injections were actually ok. You very quickly become used to them. I ended up doing over 40 and by the end of it I was doing 3 a day! It was my morning routine. The egg collection was my biggest worry but it was completely fine.. No pain and no memories of it. The drugs did a good job of knocking me out. Transfer again was fine! Very painless and quick. I'm now in my 2WW and bleeding with a positive test this evening so I'm hopefully but not getting excited until my test day on Sunday! Like I said it's a rollercoaster but us women are super strong. Thank you ladies, I'm doing this bc my husband has a low sperm count. I'm scared and excited and hopeful all the same time.
