Natural family planning?

Is anyone out there doing natural family planning and tracking with this app? I am married with 3 kids, 35 and kinda feeling at my peak sexually.

We have been using it for about a year to avoid pregnancy. We avoid sex during ovulation (7-9 days) and use pull out the rest of the time.

We are getting married September 3rd and then ttc our rainbow baby.

The pill makes me so sick and an iud causes me so much pain (I had one for about a year). Condoms also irritate me.

So far this is the best method with no side effects. Finally my cycles are coming regularly.

I do it for the health reasons of not being in BC and Bc I am Catholic. My oops was because I dropped about 40 pounds and didn't know that it can affect your fertility!

Has anyone on here used natural family planning after being counseled and how long have you been successful at using NFP to avoid pregnancy??

We use NFP! We have used it to get pregnant and to avoid pregnancy. We are only 3 years married though so for those looking for a bunch of years here won't get that. But I was trained in a class on it and talked to many people about it.

We are keeping track and using pull out. But also wouldn't be terrible if we had a baby :)

NFP coupled with the pull out method was my birth control. I can't use anything hormonal for stroke risks and everything else feels so unnatural/or burns. It worked well for my husband and I for years, then when we wanted to have a baby, I used this app and got pregnant within 4 months! We are going back to NFP & withdrawal after this baby until we are ready for the next!
