After doctor shots?

So my lil man gets his 2 month shots in a couple weeks and I wanna know what I can do for him to ease the pain afterwards. Any medicines work better than others? I heard breastfeeding helps but not that much.

I know this is waayyy late to the conversation but thought it might be useful to those looking to read about different experiences. my 2 month old just got his shots. He turned purple crying during but once we picked him up he was just fine and fell asleep. I woke him up to latch on and he's sleep-nursing. He seems just fine an hour after shots.

I have my son Motrin before. They say not to give meds unless they have a fever but I take meds when im in pain.. Seams ridiculous that they have to be uncomfortable. My baby just slept all day and was super fussy. 4mo shots on Tuesday. Not looking forward to that again.

Don't give him medican it's not gonna kill him! He will likely cry for a few minutes and then just want to be held and soothed that is how my nephew was.
