Should I go to hospital

This is my first pregnancy I don't have a mother to run too to ask these questions but i keep getting hot flashes my hands and feet are super sweaty I was getting contractions 10 minutes apart and now they are five but not too painful I can handle them can't sit still gotta stretch a bit and I'm pretty sure I'm 4 cm maybe more maybe less not sure how to check, do I go in just to be safe? Or do I wait until my water breaks or I can no longer handle them, daddy is trying to sleep but ready to go if I need I just don't want to go and have to wait there all night then all day for something to happen, what should I do?
