What does Miscarriage pain feel like?

I had pain but it wasn't af type pain it's liking stabbing pain in the top abdomen not bottom, seems to have stopped now but it was really painful and I'm worried

I didn't have pain until after I'd left the er... more crampy. 
That morning I woke up around 6 with cramps and I just knew somehow. I knew before I saw any blood at all. 
Dread and fear and panic. Worst time of my life♡

Sharp pains, and horrible cramps. I also had heavy bleeding for a couple weeks. I had to have a D&C though.

With mine I had some light spotting after a sharp pain on the side of my uterus. And then the spotting got heavier. And I had one contraction and the baby was out by the time I went to the hospital. I didn't really have cramps. They were very dull and hardly noticable

With my miscarriage i had really bad lower back pain & really intense cramps ...I was also spoting for about a week before I actually had the miscarriage. Good luck & I hope everything works!

My miscarriage pain was my worst ever period cramp x10, it felt like knives were being twisted in my lower back and pain radiated down my legs. I had no pain in my upper abdomen.

I didn't have any pain with my miscarriage but I've heard some people get really painful cramps .
The only way I knew was when j started having clots :/
