Should you take prenatals while TTC?

Prenatal vitamins while TTC?
I bought these yesterday at GNC and they taste so good!! Today is the first day of my fertile window. Hopefully I get a BFP on the 21st or I will dumb for taking these. Should I take prenatals before conceiving?

My first appointment with my OB after starting TTC she said to take them and once I saw the fertility specialist she said it was important for anyone TTC to take them and the moment I find out I'm pregnant I have to switch to prescription ones

They say it's best to take them at least 3 months before you start trying. I didn't know that and didn't start till I found out I was pregnant. Sadly I miscarried a few weeks later but I haven't stopped taking them since I'm trying again and my doctor said they are good for you and there is nothing wrong with taking them all the time whether your trying or not. My hair and nails haven't grown so much as they are now from taking them

Folate/Folic acid is MOST important in the first few months... Definitely take Prenatels when ttc if you can afford it. Which, if you're actively trying to conceive, then you should be able to afford some vitamins for yourself :) it took us 17 months to conceive our second child, so I've been on Prenatels for over two years 😩

I think its a waste of money personally. I didn't take them before getting pregnant and I have a perfectly healthy. Unles you have certain vitamin deficiencies, I wouldnt
