Have you ever experience sleep paralysis?

Is when you can't wake up no matter what you do.. Your eyes are opened but you can't move, is pretty scary JW if someone else has been through this

Many times, scary AF but nothing to worry about, your brain is awake but not your body.

I used to get it all the time when I was going through really bad depression and anxiety. Scientifically, it's just your body delayed in paralysis during REM sleep, whilst your brain wakes up. So if you have sleep insomnia, don't sleep well or are going through a really rough period of stress, I think it's quite common. It's honestly the most horrible thing to experience though - it feels like you're suffocating :(

It happened to me one time when I was a young kid, but it happens to my sister regularly! I have this weird thing where I feel like I'm awake in my dream and having sleep paralysis. The last time it happened, I dreamt that I was falling asleep on my couch and I felt somebody crawl up on top of me and hold me down, but I couldn't scream because I couldn't wake up. Frightening!

Use to get it all the time and sometimes I feel like I can't breathe. Hated it. Doesn't happen too often now though think it might've had something to do with stress

That has happened to me my entire life, pretty frequently. I absolutely hate it. I can get myself out of it now by wiggling my fingers. Once I can get my fingers or toes to move, it pulls me out of sleep.
