My midwife recommended I start taking those to help get labor started , I just bought 1000mg gel tablets and have decided to take 3 a day and then in a week move it up to 3 a day and one vaginally every night . Do they really work? Has anyone used them to start labor and how long did it take ? I'm 50% effaced by the way. FTM
