Tampons and a tilted uterus

Has anybody ever had this experience where when you use a tampon you bleed past it? Like the tampon doesn't absorb the blood, it just sort of funnels it out? This happens to me all the time. So annoying. I have tried these disposable cup things that are like diaphragms, I think they're called soft cups or something? They sit too close to the edge and if I cough they will pop out. Not cool. I've thought about switching to a reusable cup but I'm hesitant because if it doesn't fit right then I'm out $40. I recall sometime in the past I've been told I have a tilted uterus. I know my cervix is pretty low but I haven't compared mine to a lot of others so who knows. Lol. Help?
