Miracle of Life

I was laying in bed right now, snuggling up to my little sleeping girl when I started thinking back to when I first saw her.

A week after I found out I was pregnant, on Fourth of July last year, I started having some light bleeding. We went to the ER to see if everything was okay and they gave me an ultrasound. The tech said he couldn't show me the results but as I sat in the room waiting for a nurse to get me he started looking through the pictures in front of me. That's when I saw a teeny tiny dot, it was so tiny and small but I knew in that moment everything was okay. That was the first time I saw my little girl.

Fast forward to a week before I gave birth, my NP ordered me to get an ultrasound to make sure everything was going okay. My little girl was doing great, she was so squished and big, I could see her facial features and her little hands on her face. It made me cry remembering she was once a little tiny speck the first time I saw her and now she was so big. We love you so much Maddy, you are so beautiful and amazing. You fill my life with light and happiness ❤
