I personally love it, and dont think kids will tease her about it. Benji to me is not gender specific and is unique.

I totally see the appeal of Benji for a girl! It would be unique and sweet, I play around with similar names. 
However, like I tell myself, keep in mind this adorable baby will one day be a working adult! Before that she'll be around kids and kids tease! If these are things you feel won't apply to Benji and you love the name then stand by it ❤️ you and dad are the only opinions that matter!
