Still breastfeeding? What to say to haters?

What are your responses when someone ask 'you're still breastfeeding?' with a weird look on their face.

He's only 5 months old and we don't plan on stopping anytime soon but the haters are getting to me and I need a good comeback.

"Not your child, not your business" and leave it at that.

The 12th will mark 6months for us and I don't see an end in sight anytime soon. My long term goal is a year. After that, whenever he chooses to wean. My fiance and family know I hope to make it to our wedding date, which is May 20th, 2018. He'll be almost 2.5years old by then. Not everyone agrees, so I just tell them, not their baby, not their choice. I usually don't hear anymore comments after that.

What???? I'm still bfing my 5 month old- to me that is still little and totally ok to bf. I BF my other son until he was almost two and only stopped Bc he decided he was done

The average age of weaning off the breast is 2.5years

The world health organization recommends continuing breast feeding along with complementary solids up to 2 years of age and beyond.

UNICEF also recommends a minimum of 2 years.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends at least 1 year.

People keep asking when am I gonna stop and my baby is only two months. I tell them when he stops hisself or my supply is gone. But I'm still gonna pump.

Don't let anyone discourage you. He's only 5 months, I can't believe anyone would say that! If anyone got too in your face about it, I'd simply say "I don't tell YOU what to eat..." 😂
