Relationship advice

So my bf and i are both in college. He works 5-6 days a week from 2 pm- 2am. I only see him one day a week. By the time he wakes up its usually 12ish. Obviously our communication is lacking. We are both in college so this is his summer job. Hes not supporting himself financiallly or needs money like that. The issue is he will never take a day off to be with me. How am i supposed to go about this.  I want him to make the decision to be with me when he doesnt work.
