Am I supposed to purchase my own baby shower invites?

Question

Not to sound cheap or anything but since this is my first child I'm new to the whole rules and regulations of planning a shower. Am I suppose to purchase my own invites or is this the responsibility of the host? I definitely don't wanna step on any toes.

I think if you have a host doing most everything they would send out the invites. I'm not sure about paying for them though. I think I'll pay for invites and decorations and food for mine since I have no family here it'll just be friends and it's her family doing it so I feel bad them paying for everything. But I wouldn't send the invites yourself cause then it's like having your own shower ?!? Lol.
