Period Panties? The way to go or no?!?!

So I recently discovered that there's washable underwear made with a built-in pad. A little on the pricey side but I've heard some good things about them. At the same time it sounds a little nasty but I guess it's no different from wearing a pad. Do you guys thinks it's worth it or no?

I watched a buzzfeed video and they said it seemed to work , I think at night time it would be nice but during the day I would be to worried if it would leak
