Mixed feelings..

Elizabeth
So today was my first appointment with my doctor. I tested on May 4th, and got 3 positives. I made an appointment for May 11th and saw a doctor then. My experience was not great at all but she checked me and gave me a tentative due date. I changed doctors and scheduled another "first" appointment, which was today. According to my app and the last doctor I saw, I'm measuring 9 weeks. I've been super sick and it's been tough but I was excited to finally see our baby. When the doctor went to do the transvaginal ultrasound, she could see the sac but could not quite see the baby. We could see something on the top right corner but barely. She told me it could be one of two things. Either I'm actually 6 weeks and there was a miscalculation, or the baby stopped progressing. I honestly don't know how to feel. I have another ultrasound scheduled for next Monday. Has this happened to anyone else and the outcome turn out to be positive? How likely is it that there was a miscalculation when my last period was at the beginning of April? Any insight would be great. I'm trying to stay positive but also realistic.
