Anyone had a blood test to check for cholestasis? I have been so itchy for the past 5 to 7 days, especially the bottoms of my feet and palms of my hands. I catch myself scratching my palms often. Called my doctors office today and the nurse told me it could be due to swelling, but if my liver enzymes are too high that could also be causing it. So first thing in the morning I am going in for a blood test due to having to gast for 8 hours prior to the test. Of course everything I've read about this has me freaked out. Sounds like I would need to be induced next week at 37 weeks if my levels are high because it is dangerous for baby. I have a doctor appointment thursday and they want to do a non stress test to check on baby's heart rate, oxygen levels, and movements, especially if they don't have the blood test results back by then, just to get a better idea of how he is doing. Has anyone else experienced either, or both, of these things??
