Severe Headache?

Question

Could a severe headache that has been there for 4 hours be a sign of impending labor? I tool 1000 MG of Tylenol and it still hasn't gone away. At first I thought it was a caffeine headache, but it's not going away even after drinking soda. Any advice ladies?

I know it's been said, but a headache that doesn't go away with medication can be a sign of high blood pressure. Pre-eclampsia can progress very fast, so I would get checked out. I had a headache that wouldn't go away and my BP spiked to 140/100. Just be careful :)

Headache is still there after drinking water to help with hydration and caffeine just to rule out a caffeine headache. 16 hours now that I have had this headache. The pain won't stop!!!

If your headache is not going away with Tylenol and your vision is blurry you need to call your doctor.

I had one last Tuesday and got one yesterday! Both times I was told it's really normal and our electrolytes can be off. I had blurred vision. I was told Tylenol and Gatorade.

I had a migraine for nearly 24 hours that just subsided a couple of hours ago. I called my OB & they worked me in this morning because I was worried. Dr checked me since I'm 39 weeks today but I'm only 70% effaced & 2 cm dilated. He prescribed me Fioricet which seemed to help a bit & I tried to stay extra hydrated but time was really the only cure. Hang in there & good luck!

How far along are you? I would call your doctor and inform them of this though.
