Periods Suck ⚽️🏀⚾️🎾🏐🎱 !!!!

Hey everyone, so I have the nexplanon implant in my arm and my periods are outta control!! I have irregular periods which I expected and already dealt with before I got on it, but my periods also last forever! At least 7-14 days. The doctor said its normal and after a year it would kinda go back to normal or my periods would stop, but it's been over a year already. I'm curious is their anything I can do to help regulate it or anything I'm doing wrong That my periods last so long? I know the bc has a huge effect but I'm seriously getting tired of this!! 😒
