Day 1 embryos to blastocysts?

Hey ladies, I had my egg collection yesterday, got 12 eggs all up. Received a call today saying 8 fertilised. So I'm just wondering what everyone's number were from egg collection or day one of fertilisation to day 5 blast? I'm super worried some or all maybe die or arrest in development. So some actual experiences would put my mind at ease. Thanks! 😊

Retrieved 2, both fertilized.  Only 1 made it to blastocyst, we implanted the 1 on day 5 and are now 18 weeks pregnant.  It only takes 1, stay positive!

I had 28 eggs retrieved but only 18 of them fertilized. By the time we got to day 5 we were left with 11 blastocysts. We transferred 2 and one took. So now we have 9 frozen blastocysts and a beautiful 14 month old 😊

Hi, I had 28 retrieved, 16 fertilised but only 3 made it to day 5. I had one blastocyst transferred and I am now 7 weeks pregnant. Good luck.

I have endometriosis and my RE said that it can cause egg quality issues. Up to day 5 or 6, it is the egg that supports the continued growth, then the blastocyst takes over.

I transferred one BB embryo at day 5, resulted in a chemical pregnancy.

FET 5/23, transferred our remaining 2 embryos, positive beta... Waiting for early viability scan next week! Betas were 940 (14dp5dt), 1944 (16dp5dt) and 3700 (18dp5dt). Praying and praying the baby (or babies) hang in there and keep growing!!

My second egg retrieval- 17 mature, 12 fertilized, 8 made it to day 3, 4 made it to day 5.

It all depends on sperm quality, egg quality.

My first I had 21 mature eggs and only 3 fertilized. We odd a 3dt because we didn't know if they'd make it to day 5.

So just an update for anyone following, we got the phone call today. 3 made it to day 5 and are now in the freezer until we can transfer! Pretty happy with 3. The grades are 2aa, 2bb, 3bb. No idea if those grades are good, I'm hoping they are. Fingers crossed we get a baby out of one of them!

I am 35, have DOR, and had 4 follicles. Only 1 contained an egg. It fertilized yesterday and tomorrow we'll find out if it divided.
