How did you and your SO tell each other that you loved each other?

I'm going to tell my boyfriend that I love him pretty soon, it's something I've never done before so I just want to hear how you all did it with your SOs!

It was about 3 weeks into dating and we went for a night out on the town, as we were walking home he put his arm around me and drunkingly said "l love you, you're amazing" - because he was drunk I didn't say it back in case he didn't mean it 🙈 but the next morning when we woke up (and sobered up haha) he looked into my eyes and told me he loved me properly, that's when I knew he meant it and I said it back.
Been together ever since, year and a half later, in our first apartment together  😅😁

When I wanted to tell him that I love him, I told our mutual friend. Of course our mutual friend told him. So after we had sex, I really wanted to tell him but I couldn't. It gotten to the point that I almost cried and then out of no where he told me that he loves me.

this is the first time I've ever dated or been in love and so I was terrified so I tried to ease my way into it. Attempt one: we are lying down just looking into each other's eyes and talking a bit here and there and he busts out singing "I wish I was an Oscar Meyer Weiner cuz NataLeigh would be in love with me." And I said "well I guess you're an Oscar Meyer Weiner" and he was just like "you're so cute" and a bit later I said (attempt 2) "you know I meant what I said earlier" and he said "I have no doubts that you mean what you say" but he still didn't get it 😂so I was thinking dammit I'm gonna have to just say it. So we were hugging before it was time for me to go and he grabbed my booty while I was laying my head on his shoulder and I said "I love you and the booty loves you too" and he said "Do you love me?" And I said "yes" then he grabbed my face and made me look at him he said "NataLeigh do you really love me?" And I said " yes I do" while looking into his eyes and he kissed me and said it right back. And I felt so much better. I told him I was afraid to let him know and he said "don't be afraid to tell me how you feel  because I'm right there with you".
