Does your husband/SO help with chores?

Wish hubby would help. He doesn't even pick up after himself. I've tried talking to him about many many times over the past few years but to no avail. Leaves his dishes laying around the house, dirty work clothes sprawled out on the floor in every room and even if he cooks leaves the kitchen a disaster for me to clean. I don't know what else to do. I can't stand the house being nasty and grimy so I have to clean up after him like a freaking maid. I even told him that. "I'm your wife, not your maid". It's like, as soon as he comes home from work, he's like a tornado destroying everything in his path.......

Help? We both pay for the house so we should both do the chores. I shouldn't have to ask for help lol.

Yes he helps. He has a set list, I have a set list. More or less gets moved about given if I am working longer shifts or nights.

We each pay half and we each have responsibilities to keep things running. If i were a sahm I'd consider taking care of the house my job but since we both work e both have to kick in. That was one thing e never fought about

I take care of everything inside and he does the outside and also does the necessary repairs in and out
