College - The Scam

So I posted this to Facebook earlier because I've noticed more and more that college degrees are useless. In fact, after receiving my degree I was paid LESS and new employers didn't care about my degree at all. I was working in my field as well.
I'm almost 30 years old with a family, so it's not like I'm someone fresh out of the womb demanding a hand out.
I see a lot of judgement on here about women making poor choices and being told they should "suffer" for them. These statements have been made mostly regarding abortion and welfare programs (WIC, food stamps, cash assistance, Medicaid, etc.)
But this is the reality for many women today. I lost my job two months ago because I was very sick and was at a new employer so I didn't qualify for FMLA leave. Now at seven months pregnant I'm having a very hard time finding a job that will hire me.
I'd also like to point out the higher paying job requires less experience and NO licensure.
EDIT
Break down:
masters degree, four years experience, and a license gets you $15/hr
Bachelors degree and two years experience gets you $24.50/hr
Retail assistant manager at Goodwill with high school diploma and two years management experience gets you $14.42/hr plus bonuses
(This used to be my job before I couldn't work the schedule anymore after I left my ex husband and got full custody of my kids)
