Ladies with an IUD: do you experience cramps differently since you had it implanted?

I've had my IUD for almost a year. I have fewer cramps with the IUD but they're way more intense when I do get a random one. Like I have stop what I'm doing and  breathe through it for 10 seconds. But I'm not in constant pain for 3 days like I was before, so I'll take fewer, but more intense cramps over constant achy cramps. Also, my period is WAY lighter but it lasts a few days longer than before. So pros outweigh the cons, but it's not perfect.

My cramps are a lot worse, and more often than not they are displaced now - so instead of feeling them in my uterus like usual I get them in my ovaries 👎🏻 I had them do an ultrasound and there's no cysts so it's the cramps.

When I first got my IUD (2 years ago) cramps were tough, like I was miserable. It was really the only downside to me at least. But I very rarely get them bad anymore. I would say this passes, but it may also be a person to person thing. I never really got cramps before my IUD.

I had IUD last April and only felt cramps when they inserted it. I don't feel any cramps (so far!) But I am still having spotting most days but no heavy period ☺
