What are you packing for your hospital stay?

I packed snacks for labor, nursing tanks/bras and leggings,  my travel toiletries bag and a cheap package of undies that can be ruined.  I also packed my manual pump because I am hoping the lactation consultant can tell me if the shields are the correct size even though  I wont be pumping right away. I know people feel differently,  but I plan to bring make up and my blow dryer so I can feel human again after. I also wear a retainer so I'll bring that.

I second the 'don't pack everything you read online. I didn't use 90% of what I brought. 
I would bring face wash cloths because you won't want to get up to wash it. 
I thought I would wear or use all the things I had, haha I ended up leaving the hospital in what I came in. 
Snacks and a Gatorade/poweraide were what I did use.

Hairbrush and hair ties 
Clothes for overnight stay- comfy pants a must.
Camera. 
Socks 
The dress and flip flops I'm going to wear out
Some pads for myself- the big overnight kind 
My back-scratching stick! Saved me last time I was in the hospital.

Hubs-

Two pairs of sweats and two shirts, money for the vending machine or for going to get coffee for me. :p he didn't want to pack much for himself. Oh well.

Baby
Two outfits and socks 
Swaddling blanket
Her door hanger sign so family can find us on the maternity wing.
A couple of diapers just in case.

Last minute, I'm going to throw in my favorite pillow and our phone chargers. I wouldn't care except my mom and stepdad, and my dad are coming from six hours away and I wouldn't want them to be stuck somewhere on the way here with no way to talk to anyone.

I haven't even made a list of even started packing yet and I'm 35 weeks so I will use this comment as a brain stormer and also an answer for you lmfao! Ftm so no one bite my damn head off in case I mention something 'unnecessary'...
*One thing I will not leave without is mascara.. Because I'm just one of those girls. The rest I can live without.
*Toiletries , shampoo conditioner and my bar of soap bc I love Irish spring. Also my lotion because dry skin but I'll buy little bottles to put all of that in. Probably razor but depends you know? Whether I'm hairy or not 😂
*i have these tanks that I bought at rue 21 that have been my go to all this pregnancy so I'll probably bring 2 of them with leggings or my boyfriends joggers which are basically mine 😛.. I'll probably buy cheap underwear or Idk if the hospital provides it ? I'll have to ask. 
*oh and something for my hair .. If it HAPPENS to be straight then I just won't wash it but if I wash it I'll probably bring like a cream or something to put in it so it doesn't frizz too bad. I don't really brush my hair after a shower just because I like the way my curls come out when I don't brush it but if you brush your hair, don't forget a brush ! If you have bangs and if you wear something to keep your hair out of your face pack that too.
*omg I forgot toothbrushes 😂😂 and deodorant. 
*i might buy some cheap slippers because I only have sandals but like going out sandals lol I don't have any comfy shoes

Don't follow the lists online they tell u to bring so much unnecessary stuff pack as lightly as possible... Here's what's in my bag
Toiletries:
Shampoo
Conditioner
Lotion 
Deodorant 
Toothpaste
Toothbrush 
Hair ties
Brush
Didn't bring a blow dryer or straightener cause that's the last thing I will b worried about

Clothes:
Slippers and non skid socks
Flip flops for shower
Bath robe
Old panties I don't care about 
2 nursing tanks and bras
3 pairs Loose shorts
3 tshirts 
2 Comfy pj pants and tank

I have my tablet and charger a couple books all my insurance info and papers I would need and camera

That's pretty much it I didn't pack pads cause u will get those at the hospital and any other kind of stool softeners soothing items for peri area

And in lil mans diaper bag I have his coming home outfit and 2 extra onesies his prayer bear and a couple receiving blankets 
The hospital will supply u with diapers wipes creams etc and take home what u don't use...think I have everything down that we've packed hope this helps
