Pains up inside my vagina what is this !?

The doctor says contractions you feel in your abdomen area. So I don't think it is Braxton Hicks or contractions. I have been having bad sharp pains up inside my vagina has anybody else experienced this I am 38 weeks pregnant 50% of faced and 1 cm dilated do you think maybe that is what I'm feeling the dilation??

I've had the same the for the past week! Doc says it's the relaxin hormone helping to seperate the pelvic bones to get ready for delivery. It feels like baby girl has a little dagger and she's stabbing me in the vagina from the inside!
