Do you think 2 people with depression and suicidal tendencies can work out as a couple?

I suffer from depression/suicidal tendencies but my husband does not. He will get down in the dumps, but nothing like how I get. I couldn't imagine if BOTH of us felt this way, it would be nearly impossible to keep up with eachothers moods and trying to comfort someone when you feel the same way can be a challenge.

I'd be concerned if there's a break up. I'd also be concerned that instead of trying to get better, there would be triggers for both people.

No it will not work if you don't get help. The only way it would work is if you both got help as individuals. Then there might be a chance. Look into affordable counseling. You definitely dont want kids to be around that.
