My ex and I had been dating 18 months before he dumped me. He said he needed to work on himself and he wanted to be with me but 'not right now' ever since we still talk like we're together and kiss and do stuff when we see each other. But everytime I ask him if we're back together he says no. And I ask why he says he doesn't know how he feels. If we can work but that he loves me... He says we're trying to work things out but doesn't know if we'll ever get back together. And at the same time he says he wants a future with me ??  Since the breakup he talks to so many girls that he never used to.. And he ignores my texts a lot. I mean a lot.. Is he trying to get with other girls and use me as a backup ? What should I do? I love him so much and it would crush me to leave. Advice ?
