Ready to TTC

How did you guys bring it up to your husband that you were ready to TTC? He's worried that he's not ready and worried financially (which we are perfectly fine with!) I think he's scared but I might have been confronting it wrongly... Idk.. Just wondering how you brought it up to your husband or spouse that you were ready to TTC?!
