When can you have unprotected sex after you start the pill?

I started taking the pill on the 5th the Sunday after my period started i was wondering how long I have to wait before i can start having unprotected sex?

Every birth control pill has a different time frame from when you first start it until when you can first have unprotected sex. Read the directions that come with your prescription! mine says 7 days but I've heard that some brands make you wait until you finish a whole pack.

7 days. If you miss a pill you should also wait 7 days.
