How did you know your baby had acid reflux?

I can't say that my daughter does but she does make a wheezing noise every now and again, doesn't spit up too much but i thought it'd be like an asthma thing... How did you know your baby had acid reflux?

I am on a same boat. He is 6 weeks & everytime he eats he arches his back like he is stretching & he is congested. Doc told me to give him mylanta but I don't know if that's really working on him 😩

Mine gagged up to 45 mins after a feed. I would also hear him swallowing in his sleep like he was gulping back something and he would scream for no reason. He has been on Zantac for a little while now and seems to be a lot better. It doesn't stop him from spitting up but he has some peace.

My baby would gulp during sleep and then make a disgusted face. We've been on Zantac since 5 weeks old.

My twins both constantly choke when they eat, and gag. While they eat they're squirming around arching their backs and throwing their heads back. They have spit up coming out of their nose quite often, and they scream bloody murder after eating.

My nephew had really bad reflux. Dr new right away from the way he arched his back. He never threw up but always sounded stuffy/congested and it was because it would come up and go back down.
