Hey guys so I just went to the Dr yesterday I was told I came out positive with HPV.😞 I am sexually active with my current long term BF and have unprotected sex. My papsmear came out with it which is how they found out. My Dr did another Pap smear for retesting and said depending i. The results she might want to do my Paps every year and see if my immune system is strong enough to fight it off. I do not have any symptoms what's so ever and she said there's nothing I can really do no unless I do have any symptoms. Basically I gotta wait it out & hope & pray it goes away. Does this mean I can't have sex with my BF anymore? And me not doing anything. And just waiting will it make any difference to the situatuon? And if it does end up going away can I still get the shot for precention of having it again or will it not work anymore? I am also afraid to tell my BF because I believe I actually got it from him and he may not know he has it either I just don't want to create problems between us anybody can help with answers and advice?💔 I am only 21.
