I absolutely adore mine. It's an almost exact copy of my baby's footprint they gave us in the hospital after we lost her. The bottom right set of prints in the pic above: left is print on paper from hospital, right is the tattoo.

I am getting this for my lovely little angel that I lost in July at 23 weeks pregnant. I was going to get in done in the next couple of weeks, but my fiancé and I just found out number two is on his/her way! So after my pregnancy I will be getting both my babies tattoos!😍💖

Honestly, I would get any tattoo in the babys honour but not something literal (zero offence to mamas with foot prints or dates or names!!). You could get a bird, a tree, a flower, a star, a quote, anything. Anything meaningful to you, and in your heart it's dedicated to the baby. There's nothing wrong with literal, but there's nothing wrong with symbolic and it widens your options. I think a bird flying is an easy example, or the birth flower of the due date or month born. My husband drew a cartoon storm cloud and i got it tattooed onto my tummy. I'm pregnant nor with our rainbow baby. After I give birth I'm going to fill in the cloud with a rainbow. I also got a plain gold ring with "our storm 2/18/17" engraved in it.
